The Second Roland Butcher Trophy

8th May 2026

Stevenage Community Trust is delighted to announce the 2nd Annual Roland Butcher Trophy event will take place at Stevenage Cricket Club on Friday 19th June from 5pm onwards.

Kindly sponsored by Stevenage Packaging, the event will bring together local residents, cricket supporters and community partners for an evening of sport, entertainment and fundraising in support of the Trust’s work across Stevenage.

The fixture will see the Stevenage Cricket Club XI take on the Peter Allen All Stars in what promises to be an exciting and enjoyable T20 match, alongside a range of activities for all ages to enjoy.

Guests attending can look forward to:

  • BBQ with burgers and hotdogs
  • Soft drinks and beer
  • Caribbean steel band entertainment
  • Raffle and auction
  • Special appearances from former county and international cricket personalities
  • FREE ice creams
  • FREE entry

The event aims to raise valuable funds to help Stevenage Community Trust continue the great support they give to people and communities across the town and surrounding areas.

We encourage everyone to come along, enjoy the evening and support a wonderful local cause.

Dinner and Dance 2025

Our annual Stevenage Community Trust black-tie Dinner and Dance event held for the first time at the stunning Knebworth Barns helped us raise over £30,000 for the people of Stevenage.

The annual Stevenage Community Trust Dinner and Dance is a landmark event, both for our fundraising efforts and for showcasing the valuable initiatives that these funds are able to support. It is our largest event of the year, and is supported by businesses across the region, providing a truly unique and fantastic experience for attendees. This year’s event is sponsored by two home-grown Stevenage-based businesses, Wilder Coe Chartered Accountants, and Stevenage Packaging.


The Inaugural Roland Butcher Trophy

The inaugural Roland Butcher Trophy, held on Friday, 18th July 2025 at Stevenage Cricket Club, was a great success with over 200 people attending,and thousands were raised for the Trust.


Charity Golf Day Raises Over £12,500 for Stevenage Community Trust

On Wednesday 2nd July, Chesfield Downs Golf Club hosted a fantastic charity golf day in support of Stevenage Community Trust. The event brought together 23 enthusiastic teams, all teeing off for a great causes supporting vital community aid in and around Stevenage.

Gift Appeal Week 2024

Each year, we provide £150 Christmas vouchers to families in need across Stevenage and its surrounding villages. This initiative helps families struggling to give their children the Christmas they deserve. This year, we have awarded 246 families with vouchers, totalling £36,900.
