SCT win Asda’s Green Token vote and receive £500!
2nd March 2022
Amazing news! Stevenage Community Trust has come out top in Asda Stevenage’s online Green Token Giving vote resulting in a fantastic donation of £500!
This was the Asda Foundation’s fourth nationwide digital Green Token Giving vote which took place in January 2022. The online vote gives people the opportunity to support and celebrate the community groups who matter the most to them, and who have stepped up to support their local community in recent times.
The last couple of years have been particularly difficult for so many people and the amazing charities and organisations in our community have worked so hard to support them. Stevenage Community Trust has continued to provide vital financial support throughout this period, including Covid-related grants, hardship grants and heating grants.
None of the financial support that we give would be possible without our corporate member donations, personal donations, fundraisers and of course, our loyal band of regular sponsors and supporters.
We’re thrilled to have won the Green Token vote – a first for us – and we will put Asda’s valuable donation swiftly to good use, helping even more people and good causes.
