Funding for the Over 60’s
15th May 2019
Thanks to a substantial donation from The Chauncy Charity, we can continue offering grants specifically to support people in later life. If you are a charity, community or voluntary group supporting older people and are in need of funding for an event, project, equipment or activity, please consider making an application to us. We also welcome referrals from professionals for our hardship grants for individuals over the age of 60 who may be in financial difficulty. Applications for individuals can be for a variety of things including, but not limited to:
- essential household items such as a cooker, bed or washing machine
- special equipment for someone with a disability, limited mobility or additional need
- heating grants to help keep warm during the winter months
- essential items or enrichment activities that make a difference to the person’s welfare
Further information can be found in the grants section of our website.
