Community Grant helps fund new play equipment
8th April 2022
Among the many community projects that we helped fund during the last year, is this lovely new play equipment and seating for the Community Hall play area in Watton-at-Stone.
The Community Grant Application asked for our help with funding to go towards replacing the tired and dated play equipment with modern, new equipment. The grant would also help to provide new picnic benches and seating so that more people could enjoy the area. New access points would also allow those with mobility issues to access and enjoy the area.
Stevenage Community Trust was proud to award a Community Grant to go towards the project which, as you can see, has resulted in a wonderful fresh new play area that people from the whole community can safely enjoy all year round.
